How to make Rooibos oats
To start with, simply rinse and drain one cup of steel cut oats of your choice. Then put this in a pot with one cup of water and two cups of red rooibos tea. It’s recommended that you use our red espresso® Rooibos Capsules to make your two cups with for best results. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to a low-medium temperature.
Then, continue to cook this for about twenty minutes or until the oats are nice and tender, to your liking. Now, to top it off and make it extra special and oh-so-yummier, be sure to serve the bowl with a generous amount of coconut milk and/or a drizzle of coconut nectar. If you or your kids aren’t that into coconut, you can always use good old delicious maple syrup.
