Limescale build-up can have several negative effects on DeLonghi® coffee machines. Firstly, it can impair the machine’s performance by blocking water flow and reducing the efficiency of the heating element. Machine failure can even arise in severe cases of build-up.

These build-ups should be removed regularly by descaling your DeLonghi® machine. This can be achieved with the Caffenu® descaling liquid developed for these machines.

CAFFENU® ECO DESCALER FOR DELONGHI®

To keep your machine functioning properly, you should remove any build-ups by descaling it regularly. It is recommended that you descale your machine at least once every 2-4 months. But if you use your machine often and want to ensure that it is always producing the best flavour, we recommend that you descale it after every 300 cups. The entire descaling process from start to finish should take no longer than 20 minutes.
